Hailing from Wigan, Greater Manchester, The Lathums are a dynamic English indie band known for their jangly, jittery sound and wise, youthful philosophy. Formed in 2018, the band consists of singer/songwriter and guitarist Alex Moore, lead guitarist Scott Concepcion, bassist Matty Murphy, and drummer Ryan Durrans.

The Lathums blend sharp guitar pop with spiky rock, creating a unique blend of youthful energy and world-weary insight. Their music often touches on folk, ska, and psychedelia, showcasing their versatility and depth. The band achieved rapid success when releasing their debut album, How Beautiful Life Can Be, which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart in 2021. They have since released From Nothing To A Little Bit More in 2023, and Matter Does Not Define in 2025, all of which achieved top five in the official music charts, further cementing their position in the indie scene. The Lathums have sold out headline tours, supported notable acts like Blossoms and Paul Weller, and have been praised for their crisp, propulsive style. Their live performances are marked by Alex Moore's rockabilly-esque vocals and Scott Concepcion's distinctive Rickenbacker licks, backed by the energetic rhythm section of Matty Murphy and Ryan Durrans.
