BBC Introducing Artist RIYA has received continued support from the likes of Rolling Stone and BBC with her latest release playlisted and featured as track of the week. Most recently she has been hailed ‘One to watch 2024’ by youth music while securing support from the ‘Next Gen’ campaign. Recent winner in the Amplify A&R Sessions competition hosted by Abbey Road Studios and invited to the iconic Studio 2 control room for a meeting with one of the UK's leading A&Rs. Her last performance was for 'The Hundred X BBC Introducing Stage' at Headingley stadium in front of 30,000 people. She was featured on numerous festival line-ups, 'Manchester International festival' at Factory International, 02 Academy 2 London, and Manchester Museum. A force to be reckoned with, RIYA writes and produces all her music, collectively amassing over a million views on YouTube. The "young songstress" is trained to high levels in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz and piano. Riya is a classically trained vocalist achieving Grade 8 Distinction and preparing her diploma all before 17.
