GigPig CEO discusses Live Music Index with Sky News Ian King

GigPig CEO Michael Forster appeared on Sky News on 29th November, speaking to Ian King about the findings of our industry-first Live Music Index.

It was a chance to discuss how important the music industry is in the UK and shed some light on how GigPig exists to support artists to flourish. Some of the figures released in the report about the opportunities for artists and venues in the ’seed’ music industry were highlighted too.

GigPig will continue to work with industry partners to continually represent this part of the market. We’ll do all we can to bang the drum for them and are grateful to have had the opportunity to discuss live music in the hospitality sector with Ian King.
